Apocalyptic foreshadowings

27th July

I had the following two dreams on the above date in the same morning.

In the first, I was in a supermarket, surrounded by people who were running away from something.  Apparently, some kind of doom was impending, but nobody would say what it was.  Even so, everybody was very frightened and hysterical.

In the second dream, I had started work again (I'd been off the previous week), but I was now working in Israel for some reason (a place I have never been to, and would not consider visiting any time soon).  There were guards and border control officers everywhere, and in order to go between offices and locations, I was constantly stopped and had to undergo checks and searches.  In this dream, I felt very uncomfortable and was worried a bomb might go off at any minute, and I would be caught in the midst of it.

Moving on to last night (i.e. the date this entry was posted), I dream there had been some sort of parasitic outbreak.  People were suddenly being consumed by a weird fungus that would grow out of their bodies and turn them into zombies.  Once the fungi had erupted from their bodies, they would let off spores into the atmosphere that would spread the parasites to more people.

The part I remember was being in some sort of train station.  I was with two other guys and a young, mixed race woman.  One of the guys wanted to leave the station to go and get something outside.  I tried to stop him, warning him about the outbreak, but he wouldn't listen.  So, we let him leave, and shut the door behind him.

Soon after that, I walked around to another door and saw the same guy outside.  He looked like he had now been infected as there was a large, leaf-like fungal growth protruding from his stomach.  His friend (the other guy) ran out to him.  I ran back and told the woman in our group that both the men had been infected, and as a result, we had to get away from them as quickly as possible as they would be coming after us.  So, the woman and I ran into the station.

On my advice, we took an escalator down into the lower levels of the station and it was then that we realised, to our horror that everyone else was infected there too.  There were scores of people on the platforms, in tube trains and on the escalators infected with the parasites, all trying to get to us.  The dream ended as we were running to avoid them all.
