On the run

I was some kind of agent who was (as the title suggests) on the run from unknown forces.  I was away from home (which in this dream was a flat) and needed to get back there to pick up something valuable to my mission.

I spent the dream running around trying to avoid these people who were trailing me, and one of my techniques for avoiding detection was being able to morph into other people, which I did  touching them.  However, I had to choose my targets carefully as the person I'd morph into would pass out which meant I had to be discreet about it.

At one point, I had sneaked into the flat of a young lesbian couple but managed to turn myself invisible so they couldn't see me, before sneaking out again.

After a while, I found my flat but it was surrounded by an assortment of police and various agents so I was not able to enter it direclty.  However, I was able to locate a secret tunnel that would get me into the flat, allowing me to find the object I needed.  The dream ended as I crawled into the tunnel.

Wild horses couldn't keep me away...

I dreamt that my fiancee and I had bought an abandoned house.  The house in question is actually one that exists in real life and is not far from our own.  During the summer, I explored the house and took pictures.

Anyway, in the dream, we pulled up to the house with a surveyor who drove a pickup truck, with us seated in the back of it.  I walked up the path towards the house, which could barely be seen amongst the tall grass in garden.  In that same garden, I noticed a wild horse grazing, and as soon as the horse saw me, it started galloping towards me, so I ran back to the truck and got in the back just as the horse galloped into the road, disrupting the traffic.

That was pretty much it.  For some reason, dreaming about horses makes me feel uneasy.

Run and gun

Yet another dream that involves shooting.

It started with my partner and I who were camped out in a field at the foot of a large, crumbling stone structure that almost resembled an old viaduct.  We stayed in a tend nestled amongst some bushes so that we were out of the way of passers by, but I kept wandering off for some reason.  In my wanderings, I noticed there was what looked like a river of dust forming inside a crack in one of the walls of the viaduct and spent some time watching it.

I later returned to my partner and on my way to the tent, I saw another couple who were buried up to their heads by the path leading towards our camp.  As I walked past them, the couple came out of the ground and started walking towards me.  They were completely naked and I then realised that both my partner and I (she'd just come out of the tent) were naked too.  I noticed both of the women had large black, bushy pubic hair.

Anyway, as I walked towards the tent, the dream morped and I was now in an open field in some sort of combat situation.  I had also turned into a woman.  I had a gun with me and, from the distance noticed another woman running towards me shooting at me.  I dodged her bullets and ran from her, firing behind me in the hopes of hitting her.  We kept doing this for some time until I noticed two distinct groups of people in the field.  One group was made up of Muslim men with scimitars and the other US marines.  I walked between the two groups and said something to one of them which caused the both groups to start mingling as if they were about to start fighting.  I used this as an opportunity to slip away into the crowd and elude my pursuer, which seemed to work.

Later, I found myself walking along a quieter part of the field with what seemed to be a group of office workers, but I couldn't clearly make them out.  They were talking to me, and amongst themselves but I can't remember what it was about.  We came to what looked like a cliff face and casually jumped off.  In the dream, I was able to slowly float to the ground without injuring myself, and I continued walking with these people.  We were now surrounded by these tall structures that looked like walls jutting out of the ground, only instead of being flat, had a wavy shape.  These "walls" were also covered in pictures.

We kept walking and reached a building then went inside.  The whole time, I was anxiously looking over my shoulder looking for the woman who was pursuing me.  She wasn't there, but I somehow knew she was still after me and would catch up to me eventually if I wasn't careful.  Once inside the building, I parted ways with the office workers by slipping through a side door into a room filled with red pipes.  I climbed the pipes and made my way up to a ledge that lead to a narrow opening.  When I reached the opening, crawled through and found myself overlooking a town in a completely different place.  I jumped down and knew I'd escaped the woman who was chasing me and that she'd never find me here.

I spoke to the people there and it turns out they'd been expecting me to arrive and also knew my name.  I can't remember the name they had for me as I forgot to write it down.

School shooter

In this dream, I had just arrived in an unknown town and was at the ticket counter of the train station.  I overheard a man and a woman there talking about a shooter going to the local college to start taking people out at random.  As it happens, that's exactly where I was going.

It turns out everybody knew this was going to take place, but had been prompted to act normal so that the proper authorities could handle the situation by ambushing the shooter.  Anyway, I arrive at the college and wander around a bit.  I later find myself in a toilet, and just as I finish taking a piss, I see a food delivery man enter, and I immediately know this is the shooter.  I hurriedly leave the toilet without even bothering to wash my hands and start running down a winding staircase.  I notice other people rushing around, also alert to the fact that the shooter is now in the building and preparing for his rampage.

The staircase seemed to descend several floors below and I know that if I run all the way down, I won't have time to outrun the gunman, so I jump over the side.  Normally, a drop like this would be fatal, but I manage to float to the ground amidst the chaotic throng of people running for their lives.  I reach a fire exit that's now open and step outside where it is night time all of a sudden.  I am standing on a balcony and look across to see squad cars and police vans preparing their ambush.  Something tells me it's not safe to go this way, so I re-enter the building and look for the entrance.  I eventually find the entrance and head towards it and notice that it is daytime again.

Machete weilding psycho/Runaway horses

This is two dreams, the first of which took place on 8/2/20.  In that dream, my girlfriend and I (same woman, still together) were walking up a steep residential street.  I casually glanced across the road and noticed one house had a horse's stable where a garage would normally be situated.  The stable itself contained one horse.  We carried on up the road and observed a group of around 4 or 5 black horses standing around.  At this point, I started to get worried as I have a mild phobia of horses (it stems back to seeing a cousin's shin get kicked in by a donkey as a kid, but that's another story).  Anyway, I told my partner that we should maybe start to head back the other way, so we did.  At that same time, the horses started galloping slowly towards us, which got me even more concerned, so we started running down the road to get away from them.

In the second dream, I was in the garden of the house I lived in (not my actual house, but my house in this particular dream).  For some reason, I was making a sandwich there and was standing by the fence putting it together, when I overheard a heated argument in the garden next door but one to my own.  There were about 3 people in that garden including a blonde guy in a red hoodie who was shouting and getting aggressive with the other people there.  I ignored them and carried on making my sandwich.

All of a sudden, the guy in the hoodie picks up a machete and starts waving it around.  The people in the garden with him start panicking and running away from him.  I then notice that there were actually more people in that garden than I first realised, and some of those people were jumping over the garden fences to get away from the machete guy.  Before long, some of those people were now in my garden with the machete guy in pursuit, so I ran back in the house to get away from them.  When I got to the back door, I turned to see who was behind me and saw a couple running in my direction with the machete guy a short distance behind them.  I tried to lock the door behind me, but it wouldn't lock for some reason, so I left it open and just ran in the house (I also decided it wasn't fair to leave the couple out there with that psycho anyway).

As I ran through the living room, I thought "This isn't good.  I don't want that guy in my house!" then figured I could just run out of the front door and into the street to escape him.  I then turned what I thought would be the door that leads to the hallway that adjoined the front door itself, only to find myself looking at an ascending staircase.  The area I was now in had a pastel pink carpet and white, glossed railings and bannisters.  It was also quiet.  Deathly quiet.  In spite of that, I decided to run up the staircase and found myself on the landing of this place.  I continued along the landing and through another door.  By now it was clear that I'd lost the psycho, but I had no idea where I was, or how to get back to where I came from, and every door I went through lead to either another corridor or another ascending staircase.

This last dream is something that's happened in a lot of my dreams over the past year (those I remember) where I go through doors and find myself in never-ending labyrinths instead of the place I was expecting.  Often in these scenarios, going back through the doors I entered takes me somewhere completely different, and I remain lost in a strange place until I wake up.
