"The Gateway"

 This was an odd one.

It started with me standing in a field attempting to take a photograph.  There was some abandoned furniture lying in the field and the way the sunlight shone across it at a particular angle (and contrasted by the shadows) compelled me to want to get a picture of it.  Unfortunately some people in the background were making noise and throwing large balls around, one of which disrupted my shot.  They also disturbed some animals that were grazing in the field, including an unusually large cow and a moose.  After the disturbance, the people ran off, leaving me to deal with the angry animals which now started chasing me.

I usually have a measure of control in my dreams, but in this one, it felt as if things were happening around me and I was more of a passive observer.  As such, I tried to run but found it difficult.  It felt as if I was running on the spot with iron boots.  Even so, the animals didn't seem to be catching up to me either so that was one good thing.  I then tried to take off and jump out of the field, but then the branches from the trees in the background started twisting into the air to block my escape.  

The dream then switched to me being in a house with several other people.  We were going away on a long trip, but waiting for some other people to arrive, but I don't know what for.  After some time, there was a knock on the door and someone answered and then announced to the house that "The Gateway are here", and at the door were the group we were waiting for who turned up in a black and yellow van.  Amongst them was a bald black woman who appeared in a previous dream.  As soon as I spotted her, the dream ended and I woke up.
