Escaping the labyrinth

This dream occurred the morning of the previous day (17/11/24), but I've only got round to posting it now.

I've been having recurring dreams for the last year or so where I'm in a large building, be it an office, school or college and at some point, I need to go to a specific room or area, but find myself getting lost.  Sometimes, I'll find myself seemingly going around in circles trying to find the room or I'll turn corners and open doors to find that the corridors keep changing. I usually wake from those dreams feeling frustrated and left with the lingering impression that something was left unresolved. But not this time.

In this particular dream, I was in a college building (essentially a much larger version of my old workplace) and at some point, I needed to find a particular room.  I ended up going walking through doors that looped back to where I started and found myself lost again.  At one point, I decided to climb out of a window which dropped me down to the ground floor (I was able to float down without hurting myself).  When I got there, I looked one way up the corridor and saw a group of lads. I thought about going that way to get to my destination but felt compelled to look the other way first, which is when I saw the exit to the building.  I then decided I'd be better of getting out instead, so that's what I tried to do.

I say tried, because as I walked to the exit, I felt a force trying to repel me, but I fought against it and eventually pushed through the doors leading into the building and got outside. I looked around and continued running, then eventually floating, thinking to myself "I did it! I finally escaped!".

I don't know what this all alludes to yet, but it feels significant.
