The Flood

 It's been a while since I posted. Dream remembrances have been patchy, but I have also been somewhat undisciplined in not recording the few I have remembered.  This changes today.

This morning, I woke from a dream where I was in some kind of college building (a familiar theme it would seem). I don't know why I was there, I don't think I was studying, just passing through.  Anyway, I had a bag with me, and I put it down somewhere and took out my Nintendo Switch.  I then left my bag and walked off with my Switch, intending to play it in another room.

I walked through the corridors and through a window at the end of one of them, I saw panicked people running through the streets screaming. I wondered why they were until I saw water rushing behind them in a flood.  I immediately knew that something bad was going to happen and that the building I was in wasn't safe either, so I turned to go and get my bag.

As I turned, I then heard screaming from within the building followed by the sound of something bursting and more rushing water, signaling that the flood had now entered the building. I then ran back to go and find my bag, but doing so meant going between one building and another, which also meant temporarily walking outside to pass through to the other building. As I did this, I went outside to see that the water was already there and was already high enough to block my passage to the other building, meaning I would not be able to get my bag and might also be caught in the flood.

 I then remembered I was dreaming and took off into the air to escape the flood at the last minute.
