Drowning

30th June 2012

This is the second dream I've ever had in my life where I've died.

I was on the bank of a river, next to a tree with a tree swing (that was shaped like a noose) and a dog, which appeared to be mine.  The dog started whimpering and growling whenever I got on the swing, as if it didn't want me to swing across to the other side of the riverbank.  It's as though it knew I was in danger.

Anyway, I ignored the dog and climbed on the rope swing and swung back and forth to gain enough momentum to propel me over to the other side.  I also had a backpack on my back which weighed me down and made my progress even more difficult, but I still managed to make it to the other side.  When I got there, I saw my desk and computer from work.  I switched it on, but didn't wait for it to boot up.  I looked across this side of the river and saw other desks like mine with computers and people sat in front of them, and I pondered as to what I should do next.

For some reason, I thought it would be a good idea to dive into the river, which I did, and as soon as I did that, I started to sink and drown until I woke up.
